One of the mainstays of the computer graphics field is 3ds Max. It started in the days of MS-DOS as 3D Studio, and has evolved over the years from a basic tool for 3D graphics and animation into a professional-level package capable of supporting the needs of interactive entertainment, film, and architectural pre-visualization, among others.
