In Exercise 2, we covered the standard selection and manipulation tools.
This time, we’re going to cover how to add realism to your objects through the material & shader system.
Tap the M key to open the Material Editor, as shown above.
If this is not the view you see, you are in Slate Material Editor mode. Click Modes->Compact Material Editor. (The Slate Material Editor is a powerful tool for designing both simple and complex shaders, however, the Compact Material Editor is a much simpler place to start for the purposes of these exercises.
